Florida's “Middle School Math Initiative” (MSMI) is a collaborative effort to build on the capacity of districts to implement the new mathematics requirements addressed in the A++ Legislation (HB 7087). Partners include the Florida Department of Education, Florida and the Islands Comprehensive Center (FLICC), the Florida Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Eastern Stream Center.
MSMI brings district leadership together to examine research, explore instructional practices, and design lesson plans which incorporate rigorous and relevant instruction in the area of middle school mathematics.

To support this work, the MSMI resource library has been established to help participants access research, references, and other relevant documents.
